Great Job I had quick response and even better service. I was given a great deal and the plumber that came out was nothing but polite the entire time he was there. I will definitely use them again!

I just remodeled a bathroom. Their prices and selections are excellent. The staff is helpful. They worked well with our contractor. I will use them again for my kitchen remodel!

I found KC's in the Yellow Pages. On 7/13/12 I called to arrange an emergency repair. Robert Martinez from KC's Plumbing arrived to estimate the job at 9AM to repair a leaking 3/4" copper tee. He wasn't able shut off the water completely to perform the repair so he would have to replace the ball valve by the meter. He also recommended installing a pressure regulator at the meter as well. His three estimates of "about" $400 for each of the three repairs totaled $1,200 plus $59 service call. He said the "about" $400 was to protect him if the actual costs were higher. I asked him if the job actually cost less would he charge yes. His reply was "Absolutely".

Upon my return from the doctor at 12 Noon Robert was gone. I assumed he had just taken a lunch break since the pit that I dug for the repair was left open. I looked in the pit and saw that the tee valve was repaired so I assumed the ball valve and pressure regulator were installed. Strange that he wouldn't fill up the hole that I had dug for him I then had to dig up the area around the water meter to inspect the ball valve and regulator installation. I asked the homeowner if Robert had showed him the completed work. He had not.

All he did was go to the main house to get a check for the full $1,259. So much for the "Absolutely he would adjust the bill accordingly if the work cost less". I did some research and a pressure regulator is $150 at Home Depot and a ball valve is $15.

That leaves $1,059 charged for labor. I did some checking and even emergency weekend or after hour calls to plumbers ran $150/hr at the most. This was not the weekend nor after hours. The top hourly charge for normal calls is around $100.

I contacted KC's to complain about the charges and the owner, Mr. KC Russum, told me that they always include a new ball valve when they install a pressure regulator and didn't know why Robert double charged. Said he must have been having a bad day. Anyway, Mr. KC Russum credited $400 so the bill was now $859.

KC's did a great job and I would be more than happy to recommend them to others. I especially appreciated their
communication and commitment. KC's always kept me in the loop and did exactly what they said they would, when they
said they would do it. I will use KC's 23 1/2 Hour Plumbing Inc. again for future work.

I have hired them to do several plumbing jobs around my house. They are very professional, knows what they are doing and most importantly they don't not charge you for unnecessary repair. I have also referred them to my friends and will continue to do so.
