The Karl Strauss Brewing Company and Restaurants are great, The menu at the restaurant is diverse and yummy, the prices are on the high side for a brewery, but the food is quality and the selections allow for something for every price range. The outdoor atmosphere is delightful and can make for a lovely afternoon or evening.

Karl Strauss Brewing Company and Restaurants are great places to go for a business lunch. Especially the Sorrento Valley location is always full business professionals. The service is generally quick which makes it possible to do for a work lunch, and although it is quick, it does not mean is less than what you would expect to find at a nice restaurant.

The Karl Strauss Brewing Company and Restaurants is a beautiful oasis in the middle of a big industrial park. It’s a little hard to find if you don’t know where it is. It’s in the middle of a big parking lot behind the building with the red Picasso statue off of Scranton Road.

The menu at the restaurant is very diverse, and the beer selection is fantastic. Some of my favorite items on the menu are the bacon cheeseburger (it is huge), the BBQ Pork Sandwich, and the Beef Dip.

The atmosphere at Karl Strauss Brewing Company is really pleasant. There is indoor seating, but I prefer to sit on the deck outside, which is surrounded by a grove of trees and overlooks a Koi pond.

I highly recommend Karl Strauss if you are looking for a place to eat in the Sorrento Valley area.
