My son has thrived at this office. The office staff, and Kara are fantastic, easy to work and my son loves going. We went to another therapist in town for 6 months and had no progress. We've been here for 6 weeks and its night and day. I would only recommend this office. They are very family friendly and inviting and I had no issues with billing as they handled everything with my insurance.

There is a place to avoid. They will make promises that never come true. They care more about money than helping children

We started in June 08 at Kara Dodds and Assoc. after waiting months on a waiting list at Rady's so I called Kara Dodds. They got us in right away and took our insurance and we LOVE working with Alison.

I have no idea why the other review say they are difficult to work with in working with insurances? I did not find that to be the case at all. They gave me their notification of their policies from the start on billing insurance and made no declarations about therapy coverage to me. Maybe the other people really didn't have coverage? All I know is my daughter has made amazing progress and is now talking. This is truly the only place to go for speech therapy.

Watch out for this speech therapist, they will tell you everything is covered by insurance, see reviews on other sites

They forced me to take the speech therapy sessions saying that the insurance will cover it eventhough I wanted to wait until I hear from the insurance.Finally I had to pay around $1000 from my pocket.They even refused to give me any discount when I had to pay from my pocket.
