In response to Response to "Worst Food Ever"
I completely agree with the Worse Food Ever comment. The food is over priced and the staff is very unprofessional unless you go there all the time!!! The beef tips and noodles were disgusting, the tips were bleeding on top of the gravy ...

On the plus side, the waitress was quite pleasant and attentive, and the atmosphere, while a bit run down and gloomy, was interesting. Great homestyle food!‎
I always look forward to my dining experiences at the homestead. While the food may not be the best for your cholesterol level, everything is prepared there with very little preservatives. The wait staff is courteous and skilled. The chicken is pretty much to die for and if you are there for lunch, the Italian beef is a good choice, or (on the lighter side) the basil chicken wrap.‎
