Kalamazoo Valley Museum
Great place to take children. It is free to get in and the exhibits change alot. There are lots of days with planned activities that are great to have kids enjoy. There is alot for adults to learn as well, history of Kalamazoo, the surrounding area, what life used to be like that is thrown in with the kids stuff. I go there a lot and have taken all ages of kids there.
We love the Kalamazoo Valley Museum and have spent quite a bit of time there in the winter/bad weather. It has a full playroom for young children with tons of things for them to do-individually and activities. M-F at 10am they typically have some sort of organized free event (storytime, etc.) for preschool age children.
