I have had all sorts of work done at Kakaris Family Dentistry. I have seen some places advertise as great cosmetic dentists and what not but this office does it all. Dr. Kakaris makes me feel comfortable and keeps me well informed of my dental situation. This is the place to go in the downriver area.

Kakaris Arestea DDS. is a good choice for dental work. they also take great care to make sure you have no discomfort while you are being worked on. The only thing I have ever had problems with is. they don't always make sure your work will be covered under your plan be for doing it. I would suggest that you know what your plan will cover and how much you have used before your visit if possible. other then that it is a great place to go for dental work and routine care the hygienist i use their is awesome.

Generally, I am very happy with her and her office. The building is beautiful, and all her equipment is top of the line. However, I do sometimes feel as if they find work the needs to be done when it really doesn't have to be. Before going to her, I never seemed to have problems with my teeth, but now every time I go there is something that she says needs to be done. I would recommend her, but caution people to ask questions before agreeing to the suggested repairs.

Now this is a dental office! I made an appointment there for a couple of reason's, the building is beautiful, and when I stopped in the staff was very warm and friendly, and secondly, it is close to home. Everyone I encountered was a true professional in every way. The office was clean, quiet, ( although busy ! ) and running smoothly. Everybody knew what they were doing, and all of my questions were answered. They have payment plans available, so you don't have to worry if you don't have the cash. Dr. Kakaris made me feel like I was the only patient she had to take care of that day, even tho I could see a number of other patient's coming and going. It was easy to get an appointment when I was available, instead of someone telling me when the doctor had an opening. I left that first day with a real good positive feeling, and have no intentions of ever changing dentists! I don't know what Alyssa H. was talking about!

I would NOT recommend this dentist at all! She has the assistants that work with her do crowns and things that she should be doing. She wanted to charge me an ungodly amount of money to fix my teeth with this elaborate plan a few years ago that I found out going to another dentist was ridiculous! The people who work for her are unfriendly and snotty and so is she. Also, a lot of the work done here is temporary if you can't afford it and it causes you to have more problems and work done in the future. Stay away from this one!
