Despite the fact that I don't like the writing of Kafka, I do like the wine bar that was named after him. Ask the bartender of wine steward about their personal favorites. Surprisingly the best stuff on the menu is not the most expensive.

This place is fantastic. Most bottles are under $12, and the owner and staff are great at making wine recommendations to suit any menu or occasion -- and they do it without making you feel dumb for not knowing the difference between a Pinot Grigio and a Pinot Gris! Phenomenal, personal, no-pressure service right here in the big city.

Wonderful location, great selection with good prices. The only thing holding them back from 5 starts is each bottle can be found a buck or two cheaper if you travel some distance, and the staff can be a bit snobby. Nothing that would stop me from shopping there, though.
