I met the youth pastor of this church and He is very friendly, open, honest, and respectful. I have heard from some of the students who have attended the programs over there and they just loved it!!

This is definatley a church that anyone would call their home church. Come as you are and feel at home while you are there.

I was recently in search of a new home church. I had come and gone visiting this church and always felt comfortable and kept coming back. So I made contact with them to start getting involved. The leadeship and groups leaders are fun and amazing people. You can do as much or as little in this church to get involved and there never is pressure to go beyond your confort level.

If you are a first time visitor, come early as they do start on time, come as you are, expect excellent contemporary music, great sound, lights, and big screens. Their pastor is excellent, scripture based, and realavent to our lives. There is also a cafe that you can sit in that simulcasts the worship services. Great kids programs throughout the week if you have toddlers to teens.

I have been a memeber of Journey for over 4 years now. It plays a key role in my life. I was 24 years old when I first visited Journey and i had just moved to San Diego. SInce day one, I knew I could call Journey home! I recomend it to anyone!‎

Journey Community Church is the come as you are church that is warm, welcoming, and friendly to everyone who walks through the door. You can expect to be greeted with a smile, a handshake, or even a warm hug when you come to Journey Community Church. There are high quality programs in place for children from newborn to college age, and lots of small groups for adults to help you get connected with other believers. Even if you are new to the whole church scene, you will find Journeys environment unique compared to other churches, and there is a place at Journey for everyone. At Journey, the people are down to earth, and real. They dont put themselves higher then anyone else and the people know they are screwed up sinners, saved by the grace of God. Parking can be a challenge, use their free shuttle service for easier access to the church.
