I had a laptop that had a loose dc jack and I was ready to give up on it because it was beginning to look like it might be less expensive to just get a new netbook than to fix it. Seriously some shops gave quotes that high. Then I found Johnson Computers who offered dc jack repair for a fraction of what I had been quoted by other shops. I knew that laptop had just gotten a life extension. I drove from San Francisco to Hayward, dropped the laptop for repairs and went to eat lunch. I wasn't completely done eating when they called me to tell me that it was ready for pick up. I was impressed with the great service and the price. I am glad they are in business. In my humble opinion they are helping the environment by fixing one computer at a time and giving it a long life.‎

First of all, I didn't think places like this still existed! Friendly people who actually know what they're doing and won't rip you off on prices! My Acer desktop would not power on. I replaced the power supply with no result. Everyone told me I had a $500 doorstop! I almost gave up until I ran across Johnson Computer in Hayward on a Google search. I took the PC in at 11:30am and had it back, up and running at 4pm the same day! They found out the power supply was not the problem, instead it was a burnt transistor. They found and fixed what others could not! GREAT PRICES, TOO! If you need fast, friendly service at a price that won't break the bank...THIS IS THE PLACE FOR ANY PC REPAIR!!! my Sony LCD showed dark, I called around, and all the repair shop said to replace the LCD and it will be very expensive, I came across this company, they recomment me to replace just the back light, it will be much cheaper, what a great idea, I brought my Sony in the morning, they called me afternoon and told me it was finished, what a deal.‎

My DC Jack broke and I thought that I was in need of a new laptop. After searching the web I found a place near Chicago that detailed what they did with regard to the jack repair. It sounded simple, but I didn't want to send the laptop all the way to Chicago. Knowing what I needed I searched for a local company and came across Johnson Computers. I dropped the laptop off late Tuesday morning and by 2:30 the same day I was told that the problem was indeed the DC Jack and that the laptop would be ready by 3:00 that day. Can't fault the service. I will certainly go back.‎

I can not believe what a find this place is. Our laptop needed the DC jack repaired. I took it to Geek Squad. They collected the fee to send it out. Estimated $180 for the repair (their listed DC Jack repair was $299 so I thought I was getting a deal). They sent it out, and a week later I got a call that it would be $850 to repair the mother board. I did not approve the order and collected my laptop from Best Buy almost 3 weeks later. I had begun researching purchasing a new laptop, when my husband found the $99 DC jack repair on Craigslist. Just as promised the DC jack was repaired in only a couple of hours and only for $99. I was so thrilled to not have to purchase a new computer. The service was awesome, friendly and efficient. I am so glad I found this place.‎
