NEVER GRACE THE DOORSTEPS
We likewise purchased a 1998 Cadillac Catera from the E-Z lot because of the great advertisement that Johnnie's gives about the awesome deals and automobiles he has available. Boy what a mistake. NEVER NEVER will I grace the doorsteps of any of his establishments again. We have had trouble with the transmission and the value cover gaskets and although they sold us a warranty they are now trying to say it was never under warranty and they will not fix anything wrong with the vehicle. We will trade again but I can guarantee that it will not be in Moncks Corner nor will it be with any of the Johnnie's dealerships. People need to be careful when they think the painted pictures look nice.

misdiagnosed, took a long time to repair, overall unsatisfactory
We have a 1995 Suzuki Sidekick. It has liteally given us no trouble in all these years. Last month it wouldn't start. I told my husband that he should go to Johnny's Suzuki. I was impressed by their infomercials and clain to customer care. So he did. We waited several days for diagnosis, fuel pump. Said that it would be about $700.00. After some time, we were contacted by the service department. They said that the computer had to also be replaced. What are the odds that a car with a history of perfect performance would have two things go bad at the same time? We told them that we thought that they had misdiagnosed and felt that we should only have to pay cost for the fuel pump and not the labor, but they would not admit their error. We felt that we were being fair, as we don't believe that the fuel pump was even broken. We ended up paying $1,086.06 for the repairs and it took from 6/29 to 7/22 for us to get our car back.
We decided that we should buy a new car and only use the Suzuki for short outings. We ask the girl in service where the dealership was and she sent us to this tiny little used car place called EZ cars or something like that. My husband was dirty from work, so I guess she figured that he couldn't afford a nicer, newer vehicle. He said that she made him feel like he was a bum. He does quite well, thank you. Well, that was it, we vowed to never grace the floors of Johnny's again and we bought a brand new 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie at Altman Dodge, where we felt respected. So Johnny, maybe you should spend a little less money on advertisement and a little more on educating your mechanics and siminars for customer service fo your staff.
We got our Suzuki back today, and the bolts on the engine are not the only things that got screwed.
What a dissapointment!
