These Guys saved me hundreds of $$
called John Waters after another heating and cooling company ripped me off. The other company came out to check on my AC at the beginning of the summer and told me I had a bad freon leak and charged me over $400 to fill it with freon and didn't fix the leak because that was way more. I then called John Waters and Mike came out. He was great - he cleaned both my units and it took a long time (they had a $79 special).

He said it hadn't been done for years and by the look of the grunge that came out of it, I believed him. The guy who charged me $400 two weeks before certainly hadn't cleaned it as he said he had. Mike then did a leak test for just $70 and found no leak. That other guy was a scammer. A few weeks later my Air Conditioner stopped working on a Saturday (of course) at 6:00pm and it was over 90°. I called John Waters' emergency AC service and Mike was back within 45 minutes. He found a fan capacitor had failed and fixed it and charged me just $229 - I joined their ESA program after the first visit so there was no overtime charge and I got priority appointment scheduled for a Saturday night. My central air was back on within two hours on the hottest day of the year so far and we all slept great that night.

If I ever need Emergency Furnace repair or an Emergency AC repair, I will call John Waters - they have fully loaded trucks, they get here fast and I trust them!

Knights in shining armor, twice!
I called John Waters after another HVAC company came out and ripped me off. The other guys came out to check on my AC, they said I had a bad freon leak and charged me over $400 to fill it with freon. I didn't let them "fix the leak" because that was going to be way more. I called John Waters for a second opinion and Mike came out.

He was great - he cleaned both my units and it took a really long time (but they had a $79 special). He said it hadn't been done for years and by the look of the grunge that came out of the units, it looked like it. The guy who charged me $400 two weeks before certainly hadn't cleaned it. He then did a leak test for just $70 and found no leak. That other guy was a scammer.

A few weeks later my AC stopped working on a Saturday (of course) at 6:00pm. I called John Waters emergency service who came out right away and found that a part had gone bad. Luckily he had the fan capacitor (?) on his truck, so he fixed it. I had AC back on within two hours after I called on the hottest day of the year so far.

We love those guys!
