Corrine is great! She cuts about everyone's hair in my office. I have to admit I've had a really bad cut from another stylist there, but now I always make sure I got to Corrine. The people there are very friendly, and it's a nice space.‎

The worst haircut I've ever had. John was unapologetic and charged full price. Fair warning: go to this salon only if you want to hide under the couch for 3 weeks.‎

I recently decided to cut my very long hair for the Locks of Love charity. This was a very big step for me, as I've never had short hair before. I had walked by John Velasquez salon a bunch of times and decided to try it. I was SO impressed. Not only was the staff incredibly professional, they were also friendly and genuine, and were very supportive of my decision to cut off my hair for charity. JuJu gave me a really cute a-line bob that I absolutely love, and I know for sure that I've found my place to go for hair cut and trims in San Francisco.‎

I've been going to John Velasquez for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. It is a warm and comfortable setting with lovely people and they are all really proficient with anything having to do with hair. John is an extraordinary colorist; his highlighting is so good that many of my friends have no idea that this isn't the natural color of my hair. My daughters use John's as the standard for all good salons, and when they visit SF they routinely try to fit in an appointment. Great people, great service, great outcome!
