As most may, I have a preconceived notion of what a dental visit is... uncomfortable, painful (both physically and financially)... a "necessary evil", so to speak. HOWEVER, Island Dental went out of their way to break down these misconceptions. For starters, the front desk was polite and attentive. Okay, okay, but I still to deal with the money grubbing Dr who looks like he enjoys making people suffer... except, he wasn't there! Nope, in his place was Dr. Dugan, a personable individual who, with the aide of his assistant, provided gentle service. I felt like Dr. Dugan also made a genuine effort to get to know me... A+. Well, I told the doctor my financial situation (which is less than superb), and he was extremely accommodating. I don't know if I'll ever be able to say that "I'm excited to see the dentist", but let's just say I've found one that I don't mind seeing.... at all ...

I went to doctor dugan and he did a poor job of diagnosing my problem. He also suggested several unnecessary procedures like deep cleaning and veneers on my teeth which were totally unnecessary. I would find another dentist. I wasted my money. BTW, Dugan is a MAN it says F in profile.‎

what this office can do for your smile:) putting in teeth right where a root canal tooth had broken, periodontal care, and beautiful smile repair...while I was asleep. All the doctors and staff there are soooo caring.....I love them‎

I was so affriad to see the dentist, but the people at Island dental were so nice and I was given light drugs that were safe and ver effective. So many good people recommended to me, I am glad I took their advice. Cassy‎

Dr. Dugan recently saved a few of my teeth. I had been afraid to go in for a few years but things went good and I wans't in pain during the dental work. I thought things would hurt much worse because my teeth were in a lot of pain. A very nice Doctor with a long history with the locals here. I am a big fan now!‎
