I started going to Kat a little over a year ago and don't think I could ever leave her. Not only does she take her time when cutting and styling, but she also has such insight as to know how you will look before she even makes the first cut! I feel like, before meeting Kat, I always had to give up the awesome cut that I could style really well on my own or the awesome style after the cut..but with Kat she does both so well that if I had the time and money, I'd go to her every day to style my hair!

She really understands hair and more than that, she is a great listener and only wants the customer to be happy. She's creative and fun! And she is totally adorable!! If you are going to spend a lot of time at a hair salon, Kat will definitely make your stay enjoyable!

Oh and John Brody Salon is really beautiful inside..with flattering full-length mirrors and without that horrible florescent lighting that makes us all look washed out! Everyone at JB is really nice and it just seems like a very laid-back environment. I always feel welcome and attended to!

Kat is the BEST!!! She is willing to take the time to make sure you are FABULOUS!! My perm (yes...perm) took longer than expected..so she asked all her other appointments to come in later...now that's something!! I would go where ever she is!!! She's the BOMB!!!

I am so glad I found her. Moving to a new city you never know where to start when you are looking for a salon. I've been here 6 years now and have gone through a few hair stylists. Kat not only sets your mind as ease with her bubbly personality but is highly entertaining throughout the whole hair cut. Everyone is so nice and welcoming there. I always leave feeling all dolled up and refreshed. I highly recommend a trip to John Brody Salon.

I've been seeing Ryan long before he became one of the partners at John Brody Salon simply because he is a great stylist. I have fine, thin hair and he is one of the only stylists I've ever had that truly know how to give me the best cut. I've been getting color services from him for many years also and his instincts are always spot on. It's been great to see his success grow over the years with the culmination being his own salon on Market St. in the Castro. The new line of Bumble and Bumble spa quality treatment products are fantastic for tresses that see a lot of processing and I love the scalp treatment with tea tree oil!
