One of my favorite stores!
The sales are fantastic, and the coupons make for great deals. The only reason I do not give them five stars, is that this particular location is smaller than some in the big city. I like the proximity to my residence though, and the employees are friendly.

Tired of getting shorted on fabric at JoAnn
Last night I bought 1.5 yds of cheap costume satin at JoAnn b/c I couldn't find the right color at Walmart or Hobby Lobby, my only other choice of fabric stores. AS USUAL, I was shorted by about an inch on 1.5 yds! This is the third time this has happened in one year. Yes, you would think I would stop shopping at JoAnn, but I only go there when I'm desperate (esp. now that our Hancock's is closed). I mentioned that it is so sad how JoAnn now is soooo tight with their measurements, that I am sure it is bad for PR. The sales associate said in a snotty voice, If you pay for 1.5 yds, that's what you'll get. YOU don't have corporate auditors coming in every year, getting you in trouble. I thought I would complain here, since complaining to individual employees has not made one bit of difference in their policies OR in their measuring accuracy.
