I've been having my cars repaired at Jim's for a number of years and have always been comfortable with their service and I really feel that Jim is trustworthy. When I thought I had to go to the dealership for a big repair, Jim advised me about what I should do and he saved me a great deal of money. I don't know if he's more expensive than other shops, as one reviewer said, but the confidence I have in this shop, and the fact that they always keep my car running, is very important to me. And they couldn't possibly be more costly than going to a dealership! He's even made minor repairs for me at no charge at all. And his wife, who works in the office is very nice!

Called as a potential new ongoing customer with the purchase of my first (pre-owned) VW. The lady who answered was totally unfriendly, condescending, and obviously uninterested in getting new customers or providing even a decent level of customer service. Seemed like she hated her job, hated people, or was plain unhappy as a person. Wanted to charge me $96 to rack the car up to visually see if there was a gasket or other leak that was causing some occassional odor in the car. Ridiculous. Far from a feel good experience that would warrant me wanting to do business with these people.

Jim's German Auto has been in Corona for, well, almost as long as I have. That's a long time. Jim does do more than just German cars; on his card he lists Mercedes Benz, Volkswagon, Porsche, Volvo, BMW. Shuttle service is available, too. You will pay a little more going to Jim's, but you won't get ripped off. In fact, Jim's sometimes goes a little farther than needed with the repairs just to make sure everything is working right, at no extra cost. A small family run shop with friendly people, Jim's German Auto gets a solid recommendation

PROS: They know what they're doing and they won't rip you off.
CONS: A little pricey.
