As a leader in the early childhood field Jolly Fun has recently received the State of IL three star quality rating. In 2008, our DCFS licensing representative Ken Johnson had glowing comments.

The school is cleaned daily by an outside cleaning service unlike many that only consign for two to three times weekly.

All security deposits are applied to a families last week in our program with a two week written notice of discontinuation.

I nearly decided not to enroll my child after stumbling on the negative reviews below. I am so glad I trusted my initial instinct and sent my child when a spot opened. My experience with this school couldn't be further then the experiences below. After reading the reviews below, I kept an eye out for any cleanliness issues and gladly never saw any. On a visit to the classroom I personally saw the teachers cleaning and wiping down areas immediately after each activity. I drop my child off quite early and always find the classroom clean and tidy. I have seen no problems with hygiene either. My child??????s has never come home with so much as a smudged face or marker stains on her hands. I have had nothing but positive interactions with the teachers and the management alike. It is a very open and friendly environment, almost family like. The staff really makes an effort to get to know the children as individuals, even if they are not in their specific classrooms. The Director knows each child by name and will gladly give updates or anecdotes on your child when you call in or are picking up. The classroom schedules and activities are stimulating and educational. The menus are nutritional. The projects sent home with my child are adorable and creative. The teachers are very dedicated. Parent involvement is encouraged and welcomed. I am very happy with my decision and know my child is a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment. I would not hesitate recommending this school.

I concur with the comment below. Some of the teachers are excellent, but management lacks the skills to properly run this day care. Not only the place does not meet the standard hygiene that you would expect in a center with children under 5, but be sure that you will be cheat off from your security deposit. After giving a month notice that I would be pulling out my children, I am still having problem getting my security back. ( This is a month later....) So, in other words Gigi Bowie will still your money.

My final comment, NOT REPUTABLE, NO INTEGRITY, and only the children of the parents that she (Gigi Bowie) favors get to be moved in more advanced classes... no matter what the teachers comments/reviews are.

Also the staff turnaround is very high, this is an indication of how badly this place is run.
