Love this store and I haven't been able to stay away since I first discovered it five years ago when I moved to Santa Cruz. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good prices, quality equipment, and always service with a smile. I love to find an excuse to drop in, say hello, and add to my growing collection of instruments.‎

Great selection for begginers and EXPERT...‎

I go there to play on the great and low priced equipment there. Free use of equipment to test, nice and friendly staff, great expertise, great books, lessons, and more. I took my Squire 70's Vintage Modified Jazz Bass for a setup, which I though was doomed eternally for high action, and the owner fixed it 110% better. I go here for the best local repair, ever. My beginner nephew is always exited to go to Jansens when I get the chance to take him. This place also has great Ibanez and Samick electric guitars and basses in stock. I plan on coming here all the time. Even though it is small, it has a cozy and warm feeling you don't get from a larger store.‎
