While our room was nice and I felt secure once we were inside of the hotel, the area around the hotel is very dangerous, due to the high crime rate. Therefore, we should not have been surprised when our truck, along with five other ones, was broken into by thieves during the night (yes, in the parking garage). Yes Marriott, thanks for points given to us to make us feel better, but I sure would like to see more security in the garage. No one in the hotel even realized that more than six windows were busted out until we noticed it the next morning.‎
