BEWARE OF JACK BROWN CLEANERS
I recently moved to Avery Ranch an needed a new dry cleaner and thought I would give Jack Brown Cleaners a try I brought in a few of my new expensive shirts i had bought and worn just once. Upon dropping them off I said dry clean only and pointed out to the lady at the counter that the snap buttons on one of the shirts need not be pressed as they are snap buttons with a plastic in them and they can be damaged easily. She acknowledged me and noted this, so ifelt confident it would be done fine. Upon picking up the shirts a few days later i looked at this shirt first and immediately noticed that 3 of the snap glass looking buttons on this $150 shirt i just bought had been smashed and essentially looked like broken glass, it looked awful. When I brought this too thier attention they denied pressing the shirt and smashing the buttons, she said she would take it and show it too her manager and i came back in a few days and all I got was denials of any responsibility on thier part, saying they just ran it through thier dry cleaning machine, which is noit possible because a dry cleaning machine could not smash those buttons. They told me to contact the manufacterer fo the shirt G-Star too see if i could get replacement buttons, but looking at the shirt these kind of snap buttons would not be replaceable because they are imbedded into the shirt. So essentially i dont know where to go with this and i am out a $150 shirt i just bought due to the imcompetence of Jack Brown Cleaners.
