Taste the tradition!
Located in Old Town, Jack and Giulio's is the spin off of Giulio's when they were on Thomas Street in PB years ago. By comparison to the original, it's just a small step down, but only in terms of ambiance. The original had tuxedoed waiters and live piano. What I'm absolutely relieved about is that they kept their original traditional recipes and brought it to this new place. Their homemade Tortelloni Verdi, a spinach pasta filled with cheese and spinach topped with a porcini mushroom sauce, has been on their menu for generations, and is the standard by which I judge other dishes with this name. Very few have even come close. There's a list of other dishes that have been with them for generations including their Scampi, Veal and Filet Mignon offerings. They're all exquisite. The wine list is very ample though not as extensive as some of the other high-end restaurants in town. Go to Jack and Giulio's and taste the tradition!
