Did my roof in Sunland several years ago. Everything they said they would do they did exactly how they promised and exactly when they promised and the price was about the middle of the bids I got but I feel best value. They noticed a few minor points about my roofing system and fixed them without telling me and without billing me (I found out later when I checked the job out). When I asked why they didn't tell me, they said it's just standard and that their policy is "treat customer like you would your own family and you will succeed". It's working.

Hired these guys based on previous recommendations. They were courteous and professional at first. Then one phone call did not get returned. They were apologetic. I said no problem, these things happen.

They came to repair a fairly bad leak in the bathroom of my office. The price they quoted was reasonable.
Due to the sparsity of rain in the region, it's difficult to tell if a leak-repair is successful. During the next rain, the leak reappeared, though not as bad as before.
I called J&J to have them come out and take a look at it. Someone from the company came out to examine the leak. He said it appeared to be coming from somewhere higher up on the roof, but wasn't very specific.
A few days later they mailed me an estimate: an additional $500 to repair the leak. As far as I'm concerned, this is the same leak I had asked them to repair in the first place. I don't really know how roofing works but I do know that if a client had a problem with my work, within reason, I would try to fix it. I don't mind paying extra to cover materials and labor, but they seem to be treating this as an entirely different job. I called the company to get clarification on this issue, and never received a return call.

Now, two months later, it's raining and the bathroom looks exactly like it did before I ever contacted them: a wading pool. I've called them yet again and got the promise that the owner would call me back. Wait & see....

I decided to call them based on the other reviews on this site, and I'm glad I did! I have never had as wonderful and easy an experience with a contractor as with J&J. Not only were they knowledgeable and friendly, but more importantly, they were honest people giving fair estimates. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends & family.

This company has done work for several of my friends. They're professional, honest and personable... and that's hard to find in a contractor these days.

Great guys who know their stuff. They definitely know how to put on a new roof.
