Hidden and tasty
What a treat this was. I've only been in Ithaca Coffee Company a few times, usually to buy beer while I was stopping at the wine and liquor store next door, and I was surprised to see that they served food. This mainly seems like the kind of place you'd stop in to pick up a few specialty items for home or some gifts for your family. It turns out they have a small cafe. I tried their sandwich and drink specials. The sandwich was called the Godfather and was ham and salami with olive oil and sundried tomatoes. The drink was the Ravi Shankar which was, to boil it down, a latte with curry powder in it. The sandwich was very good with crispy bread and a great flavor and a good portion. The drink was more "interesting" but I knew what I was getting into. It tasted like Indian food. However they have the standard range of cafe hot beverages if you're not as adventurous.
