I first started coming to this iTan because it was near my house. The girls are usually pretty friendly, but I often have to wait for a bed. I guess it’s part of living in Pacific Beach- everyone likes to get their tan. I think prices are pretty reasonable but can’t say how they compare to other tanning salons since this is the only one I have been to. They always have promotions running, and you can find coupons and monthly specials in the local coupon magazines. I have found this to be a relatively clean tanning salon, and girls are pretty knowledgeable about the whole process.

When I used to go tanning, I used to go to Itan in PB.

This tanning salon is very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They have a wide selection of tanning beds, tanning lotions, and some spa services.

It is also very conveniently located in the shopping center with Vons.

My one con with this place is that I accidentally left my ipod touch in a tanning booth and someone *cough* staff*cough cough* stole my ipod and then had the audacity to only leave my ipod case in their lost and found box. The staff didn't even offer me anything for losing my ipod, like a membership discount or free tans or a NEW IPOD!!!!@!@!@!!@ Really? Who else took my ipod when after each client leaves their private tanning booth, only a staff member goes in to clean up before a new client is let in?!?!?! It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure this mystery..

Other than the ipod stealing staff, the place is a decent place to tan, just don't leave your ipod accidentally there...there are apparently no good people left in the world...or at least the Itan world...
