While many people find mold to be an issue because of affects it has on health and makes a mess among all personal belongings, Islay doesn't. I've been living here for about 3 months now and my room has been saturated with water b/c of leaks and waterlogged walls. Clothing was so full of mold that i had to get rid of them and picture frames around the house were saturated with mold/mildew. Furthermore, the water in the walls has created so much pressure/weight that last week the ceiling fell on my roommate in the bathroom while in the shower and later that night we couldn't stay at the apartment b/c small animals were crawling all over the house from the hole that was created. Islay remedied the situation by giving us money for the days that we couldn't stay at the house for and opened another apartment for us. (Without helping us move) PLEASE BEWARE - MOLD IS AN ISSUE- IT CAN HURT YOU/ DAMAGE YOUR BELONGINGS. Islay will attack you with attorneys and people with legal backing if try to get any reimbursement from them. If you have the option of paying 50$ Per/month some place else, for your health?s sake- do it. Be smarter than them, think about the rights of your own and others- take this review to heart and place your tenancy with somebody who cares about you and your belongings.
