This is restaurant is in a great location on harbor island, I highly recommend you ask for a table by the water as some of the views day or night are spectacular. The food is expensive but the service and quality justify the price. Mainly they cook steak and seafood, lots of dishes have some sort of lobster accompaniment especially in season. One of the best twists were their turnovers. You don't see them very much and they were delicious. I'd highly recommend this place for a semi fancy night of drinks or dinner.

Where do I begin with this restaurant? It's fabulous. Island Prime is part of the Cohn Restaurant Group which has about a dozen exceptional restaurants in the San Diego area and one in Maui. (I've eaten there too!) <br />

Island Prime is surf and turf. Steaks, seafood and a very impressive wine list. The service is very good and knowledgeable and the ambiance of the place makes you want to literally move in and never leave. The restaurant is out on a peninsula near the airport. The structure itself is built out on stilts over the bay and for this reason the restaurant and its attached bar, C-Level, boast some of the most impressive water and city sky line views in San Diego! <br />

*Secret* If you are dining on the Island Prime side of the establishment ask the wait staff for the "Deborah Scott's nut encrusted brie" from the bar menu. It's not on the main dining menu but this appetizer is not to missed. It's been made so famous Whole Foods is now carrying it the cheese section! <br />

If you are looking for fine dining, then this is a place to check out. The view matches the view... sensational. Make sure you ask for a window seat. Also, the lobster trio is worth trying. Make sure you have an open mind as some of the food might not look how you would think, but the tastes are amazing.

I love love love the staff here as well as the food! It has such a great vibe and really amazing dishes!

I have been here twice. Outstanding - especially to take friends from out of town.
