Awesome ‎
I love dives but I also enjoy fancy meal. Here, you get both. Super good quality fish, ask the chef what is good today. He will tell you. I asked for Uni (Sea Urchin roe), and he said, "it's not the best today". I appreciated his honestly. Rather, he recommended Ama Ebi (raw sweet shrimp). I am like "what? Ama Ebi?" This place is no joke. So I asked for chef's tasting course or whatever he wants to give me. He gave me severe amount of deliciousness, including 2 Ama Ebi with caviar on top, red snapper, tuna, white tuna, yellow tail, flounder, eel, shrimp, scallop, tamago (egg) and salmon. He also made us salmon tataki sushi and slightly grilled squid sushi. Ofcourse, he also deep fried raw sweet shrimp head and gave it to use as well. Of, I forgot to mention, he also gave us this grated (something something) root with quail egg for appetizer, which supposely protects your stomach from heavy drinking. No doubt, he knows what he is doing. It's a matter of, ...

Best Sushi in East Coast‎
Eat here all the time. It's cheap, but the quality is above par, better than any sushi I had in NY. And to top it off, the chef starts your meal with a complementary cucumber salad and ends it with either a desert or one of his specialty rolls.‎

Pricey and bland, although friendly‎
I followed the good reviews all the way to Geisha on a recent trip to Baltimore only to feel slightly disappointed. The service was friendly (I was there early and sat at the sushi bar), but the menu prices were steep. Coming from NYC, my standards are pretty high, and the quality of the sushi didn't live up to the expectation. I dined primarily on sashimi (mostly bland, although fresh) and a couple of handrolls (tasty and crunchy). The cucumber salad tasted off and did not seem freshly made. Overall it was edible, and I did not try the rolls, but I would try another place on my next trip.‎

Worth While...
I found the Geisha sushi bar as a recommendation on Yelp, while on a business trip in the area. I have to say everyone's recommendation for the Pink Lady was correct! It was awesome. The service, however, was not so great. ...

OMG So good!‎
As a Baltimore native, but a Philadelphia college student I was having a hard time finding two very important things-- a great nail salon, and great sushi! But besides going to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's or any other gourmet/organic supermarket, finiding good fresh sushi as a decent price was getting hard and harder to find. Alas I started a job downtown and was really craving sushi so I gave this place a try. For $10 bucks i got two rolls of choice, miso soup and salad. I decided on a Spicy Tuna (with cruchies), and a Shrimp Tempura...and OMG it was impeccable! Even for take out my box was beautifully laid out with color and freshness, and they even went the extra mile to tape the soy sauce to the top of the carton as to prevent spilling... While the look on the outside doesn't give the place much credit... on the inside it was very clean and everyone was very nice. I will DEFINITELY be going back!‎
