This is my favorite place to go! I go about one a week! They have the best dishes and the serving sizes are enough for two! I love our waitress, (we request her everytime!) she is great with kids and she is a hard worker! Ask for Heather if you go in there! If there has ever been a problem, they fix it fast and make it better! I love this place and recommend it to everyone!!!

This is a Carrabba's horror story. Went to Carrabba's in Independence. We were enjoying our second basket of bread...dipping it into the olive oil ...and as I looked down to try to catch some of the herbs with my bread a centipede came crawling out of the bowl...that's right...a centipede.
Called the manager over who was very apologetic, gave us our meal for free and a $45 voucher for their sister company The Outback.
That's all good and well, however, perhaps Carrabba's should advise guests to inspect their food for LIVE INSECTS before eating...
this is the most disgusting and revolting experience I've had in any eating establishment. CARRABBA'S!!! CLEAN UP YOUR ACT AND TURN UP THE LIGHTS!!!!

Our experience was not very pleasant at this restaurant. The wait was not very long, but there was a large table in the bar area that they told us to move away from because they were seating a party of 15 there. They were very rude. The menu has a variety of items, but the waitress talked in such a hurry that she was hard to understand. The Mezzaluna that I ordered was ravioli stuffed with spinach, ricotta and chicken. They must have been out of chicken, because there was none in this dish. The Spiedino di Mare that my son ordered had maybe 10 shrimps and scallops and the side was 8 green beans. Not very filling. The serving of lasagne that my husband had was very skimpy. The spaghetti with meat sauce that my son's fiance ordered was a huge order. The restaurant was cold because there was a side service door that the help was using to go outside and smoke. The food did have a good taste, but we won't be dining there again for quite some time.
Best Italian Cuisine Ever Had: Went to Independence area two weeks ago, Tried a new italian cuisine restaurant there. I must say i was very impressed with the food, It was outstanding and i could barely finish what i was eating. What i had there i cannot pronounce for the life of me. But look for it on there menu , It starts with a T LOL. It is called Carabbo''s Italian and Family Cuisine or something like that. Not sure of the spelling. But it is a must try if u are ever in that area. It is right down the road from Independence Center. So close to shopping. I left with a full belly and a smile on my face.So if u are close to the area and you have some extra time, Stop in and have a little bit of Italy for Lunch or Dinner.
