Amy with In the Loop Properties was so much help. She did our searching for us, and truly found the best places based on our criteria. My wife and I spent hours and hours doing our own internet research (because we're not from Texas), and her list was so much better than hours, so we gave up searching for ourselves.
She took us around town and even waited while we filled out the rental application. As I mentioned, we're not from Texas, so we have no idea how to get around. The same tour of apartments would have taken three days without her.
Amy is relatively new to the company but certainly not to Houston. We quizzed her all afternoon about how best to get places and how long it would take, characteristics or various neighborhoods, etc. We cross-checked a few of her responses with some folks we know from Houston, and Amy was spot on.

Because we're doing a cross-country move, I communicated with Ada mostly by email and phone in the two weeks prior to our trip to find an apartment. We only had one day to find a place, and Ada found us a great place in a great neighborhood. We had a lease signed in four hours! She stayed within our price range, helped us to get the amenities we wanted, and obviously had a great rapport with the apartment managers. I highly recommend Ada.

As an owner of investment real estate, I would give my business to no else. In the Loop (Shannon Chapman) Properties does an oustanding job of keeping you in the loop as to everything concerning your property while it is being listed to lease. Constant feedback and real time assistance with market conditions, showings, comments from prospective lessees, etc. It has been a pleasure working with in the loop.

Mike was our realtor/leasing agent and was great to work with. I originally saw an add for a condo in the Montrose area in the Houston Press and that's how I got into contact with him. In addition to stating he'd take me out to look at the property he quickly emailed me more listings that were within the price range and specifications I gave him. While mulling it all over he stayed in contact with me through phone. I decided on a place and we set up a time to go see it. He was on time and prepared and we even got to meet with the landlord which was really nice. He knew we were also checking different apartment complexes so when we gave our application for the condo he asked us how that search was going and if we wanted to check 1 more place before we handed over the deposit. Thought that was really helpful and it was a great apartment, but we stuck with our 1st choice. He took care of everything after that via phone.

He was in the office on a Saturday and it was easy to meet with him there. He also took our applications and showed us 1 more apartment complex in the pouring rain and seemed happy to do it.

Would definitely recommend.

My boyfriend and I moved to Houston and lived with a friend for a bit. We were desperate to get out of that place and get into a place in a better area. I saw an ad for In the Loop and filled out our interests online and within minutes I had an email in my inbox from Jeny Payne welcoming me and giving me a list of apartments I may be interested in. Within the first week, she showed me a place that I really liked, but my boyfriend didn't like the area that well. Jeny would continue to send me lists and keep me updated. It took a couple more weeks bc not much was available at the time, but we finally found a place. She showed us 2 places that day. We basically forced her to show us one place; she told us we wouldn't like it, but she came on over when we called and showed us the place. She was right - not the place for us. But we did say it was exactly what we wanted but with a more updated look. She told us 2 streets over there was a place she'd like us to see. We didn't have an appointment and people were living here at the time, so it took some calling around and arranging on her part, but she finally got us in. As soon as I walked in, I knew the place was ours. Thank you Jeny! This place has been amazing (we've been here almost 3 months now). It's absolutely amazing. In the Loop has the best listings in town and the staff is really friendly and attentive to what you want. I recommend! And if we ever do leave here (we will have to be forced out!), then we will certainly give In the Loop a call.
