Customers beware!
Don't expect much in the way of customer service! I dropped off a jacket for alterations, and when I got it back, there was a run in the fabric on the sleeve. The proprietor of the business vigorously defended himself, arguing that the blemish was pre-existing and could not possibly have been caused by the work done at his shop. He then proceeded to charge me full price for the work, without second thought. His reaction, tone, and overall demeanour completely lacked the slightest element of customer service, even in its most primitive form. Regardless of how or when the fabric run was caused, the manner in which it was handled was utterly and entirely unacceptable. Additionally, my jacket was returned to me smelling heavily of incense, which remained on the garment for some time afterwards.
With me that day, I had three pair of pants and another jacket, which I was initially set to drop off for alterations. However, I was so disgusted with the total absence of customer service that I decided to bring my business elsewhere.
I should have initially set my expectations lower, as I was in the shop a week prior and witnessed the shop owner aggressively arguing with another customer who was unhappy with and dumbfounded by a sizable hole in a garment that had been returned to him.
