"Arranging photo shoots with hip-hop DJs is always a crap-shoot. As art director of Remix magazine, I know first-hand how unpredictable these subjects can be, that's why I seek out photographers who have a knack for handling the unexpected, are flexible, good with people, and a great sense of humor.
Sure enough, when we scheduled a photo shoot in San Diego with New York DJ Cosmo Baker things got interesting. His driver overslept and Cosmo missed his flight out to the west coast. Thankfully, I'd hired Ramona d'Viola of ilumus photography. Without batting an eye, Ramona made herself available for the re-scheduled shoot and delivered some of the sharpest, most colorful portraits Cosmo has ever taken.
Next time I need a photographer in the San Diego area it's a no-brainer... I'm calling Ramona."
