For the average person the ice might be fine at this rink, but not if you are a competitive figure skater. My sister-in-law is a competitive figure skater and was visiting the area and needed to get in some ice time and so she went to this rink and it was horrible. The facility is old and does not seem well-maintained and kind of dirty. The actual ice at the facility was in bad condition. This rink is also in a bad area of town. I don??t recommend going here.

Iceland is the only year round ice skating rink in the area. The building itself is pretty old. The ice is well maintained and so are the rental equipment. I would return for ice skating only. The lounge area isn't that great. Parking can be pretty difficult as there is no lot, you must park on the street. Also, the area is improving but after dark it can be a pretty rough part of town.

The Iceland skating rink is a good place to learn how to ice skate. Ice skating is a sport fun but is also a realy dangerous
sport. I love this ice skate park because it is a great, fun, and a very hyperactive ice skating rink.
