Close to the stone age, I went to kindegarten up to
second grade here and I absolutely loved this school. However, now it is looked at as one of the
worse parts of Detroit. This school was old when I
attended and had 3 floors, a beautiful auditorium,
a huge greenhouse and even a basement where we went
to see special movies. I enjoyed school so much that I looked forward to seeing my teachers and friends. Back than, they had these nice size cages
in the wall and if you got out of line, the teachers would put you in there. They also did not
have such a thing as child abuse back than. Just
the thought of this punishment kept us kids in line.
