Dr. Naito is THE BEST!
In a world of greedy veterinarians, Dr. Naito is one of the last of those who are dedicated to their profession and care more about their patients than lining their own pockets. She is extremely competent, kind, and compassionate.

The down side of this is that she's got a LOT of business. Nonetheless, you can usually get in to see her the same day if you need to. The staff is great, but often they have more work than they can handle. Sometimes you have to wait, but no longer than at other vet's offices. My only complaint is that sometimes I can't make an appointment because the staff is so busy they can't answer the phone, though they do usually take walk-ins.

Last spring we had to put one of our dogs to sleep after a long illness. We spent a lot of time there. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful to us during that trying time.

IT SEEMS TO ME by Liz M. at InsiderPages
It seems that those who are posting negative comments do so becuase when a loved one dies, be it family member or beloved pet, we as people feel the need to blame someone, perhaps this is part of the grieving process. I am truly sorry for your loss as death is without doubt tragic and painful. But in defense of Dr Naito, I have been a client for almost 10 years. My first pet I took in had parvo and Dr Naito was able to get her healthy again, no loss of life.
As for conditions out of view, I cannot comment as I have not seen, but I do know this, the disgruntled employee should not be taken too seriously as disgruntled employees are just that, disgruntled and feel the need to strike back because they were terminated. If there were truly deceased animals then the stench of death would reveal that. The only smell I have noticed is not of death, but that of animal waste, and I have attribued that to scared animals relievng themselves and too that of the animals being boarded. Unfortunately it's difficult to get an animal in a kennel cage to relieve itself at a time convenient to staff. I will still take my animals to Dr Naito as I believe she truly cares for the animals and respects her clientel. For those of you who are reading the negative reviews, try to remember to be ojective and bear in mind, that just because some one makes a statement does not make it true. I for my part would like to thank Dr Naito. Her counter staff on the other hand ,they are extremely busy and at times rude or short, they may wish to change that, but hey I myself have been known to be rude so I can let it pass. I am not perfect, neither are they, and yes they should be more professional.

From Toby's Mom...Happy in HB by marilyn g. at InsiderPages
I cannot tell you what it means to me to go to a vet that has so many clients waiting in the waiting room and yet Dr. Naito gives me her complete attention and care and time when it is my turn to see her. I have been in the office after closing and due to her concern for animals and clients, Dr. Naito continues to work allowing people to come into the office...that is love of her work and people. Dr. Naito has recently been caring for my dog and has done things for me that she did not have to do. Showing concern and helping me in any way that she can. I just don't understand the negative reviews I see here. She continues to try to do everything she can for my dog and we are going to see my pet problems solved very soon. One more thing. There are many vets in our area...This is the only office that is packed every time I enter the office. To me that says great reputation and obvious customer satisfaction . I have talked to people in the waiting room that drive from Mission Viejo to go to Dr. Naito...that says it all.. busy because of excellent service, care and concern.Thank You Dr. Naito for how you are helping me and Toby.... I can't thank you enough.Marilyn G

It's true by Kourtney M. at InsiderPages
Pet Vet killed my dog too. I used to swear by Dr. Naito and I really like her as a person but I dropped my dog off for physical therapy and she came back dead. Dr. Naito admitted someone had given her the wrong medication. I can't believe what I have read as far as how many people have lost their dog at Pet Vet and what is worse is that happy Pet Vet clients are calling these lies. Ignorant people. I am just trying to help another person from feeling the heartache of loosing a healthy dog. I have always found Pet Vet employees to be helpful and nice and Dr. Naito has always been a great vet, I just think her staff is too busy and because of that horrible mistakes happen.

too my baby in by daddy d. at InsiderPages
after another vet at edwards said i needed $2000 worth of tests to determine what medication my dog would need. I went to her and she had a complete different prognosis and she was actually right and the cost including medicine was $77.
Be careful with other vets they are just after your money, she was an expert at her craft
