Today I brought my 20 year old cat (yes 20+years) in for a check up and lil cold she has. He not only went out of his way to see me as a walk-in in a hurry, he was patient and understanding even when old Daisy took a shot at him! (she has no claws) He asked if her attitude was the other animals or just being there. He gave her the shot in a hurry and let her to her kennel. HE DIDNT EVEN mention putting her down, as i expected and braced myself for, but offered vitamins to get her moving again!! The ladies in the office CARE and show it with their compassion!!

We took our 2 month old puppy in when she gets sick just days after adopting her, he was amazing. He didn't charge full price for the parvo test, gave her a series of shots at no extra charge, and even sent us home with antibiotics for her so we wouldn't have to pay for them. The whole visit was less than $50 and he was just terrific. I will be returning to him any time one of my animals are sick. :)

I was a walk in. They told me I would have to wait about an hour. He was very busy and I ended up waiting. about 2 and a half hours.. When I finally got to see him, he didn't even charge me for the visit, just the medicine for my cat and gave me about 8 times the amount for less cost than my previous vet. You can't beat that with a stick.

I really appreciated Dr. Hunter's honesty today. He told me the truth about the dog I was fostering for the Pasadena shelter. I had gone to a vet in Pearland who thought I needed to spend thousands.. Unfortunately the dog had to be put down due to advanced heart worm disease. PLEASE everyone out there please give your dog a monthly heartworm pill to prevent this horrible disease that killed a wonderful sweet dog! I will continue to use Dr. Hunter.‎

Dr. Hunter is wonderful, his office staff is kind and compassionate. I took our beloved cat in when he became seriously ill (kidney failure) and while Dr. Hunter was not able to save his life, he helped me make him as comfortable as possible during his last days. His office is open late during the week and open on Saturdays which makes it much easier to schedule an appointment. I cannot say enough good things about Dr.Hunter and his office staff. He was reccommended to us by a friend and I recommend him to anyone looking for a vet.‎
