I have used Phentermine before from another Dr. but the Phentermine they are prescribing I think it is fake. I think they put maybe out of 7 pills 1 that is real Phentermine. Something is wrong with their pills. I have now went to Kaiser and their Phentermine is a lower dosage but IT IS WORKING. I believe Howe Medical in Folsom is not getting the real stuff! NOT WORTH ALL THE MONEY FOR DUDS!

Wasn't very impressed. Long weights. Never saw a doctor. They didn't seem too interested in me personally.

I found the doctor, nurse practioner and staff at the Howe Medical Clinic at Cal Expo to be very helpful, professional and convenient. At a friend suggestion I figured it was worth a try.

In my first 6 weeks of following the program I lost 15lbs!!! And even though the program is a little pricey ($40 weekly). I'm extremely happy with my results and feel it's so worth it because I have a really tough time losing any weight.

There isn't any special foods, points or calories to count. After answering a questionaire about your health and meeting with a doctor you are then prescribed medication to aid you in your weight loss. You are also provided a booklet with nutrional information that you must follow which isn't very hard after the first two days. The pills do not make me feel jittery or nervous. I have not been hungry. I have lots of energy and the only side effect is that it makes me very thirsty which is great because you're supposed to drink 64 oz of water daily. I've also been eating 2-4 servings of vegetables, 2-3 servings of protein, 2 fruits & 2 carbs per day. I also have been exercising 4 to 5 times a week but the extra energy helps you get through it. Oh and absolutely no alcohol, hey do you really want this to work or not? It's nothing out of the ordinary and really just common sense stuff.

I just started Monday and Saturday I weighed in ten pounds lighter! I feel a change in my body and my clothes are fitting looser. I'm excited to continue this weight-loss program. I'll keep you posted.

I had my first baby at the age of 19, and at that time gained wieght but it was easy to lose of, but of course as I aged my weight fluctulated up and down, but mostly up. Last year, at the age of 30, I gave birth to a huge 9 lb 1.9 oz baby boy, and with that weighed over 220 lbs. I tried to loose it off by myself but I couldn't control my appetite. First I went to another weight clinic, but the hours were so inconvenient. Then when I needed to increase the medication they charged me more. So out of recommendation from a co-worker, even though the drive was further, I went to Howe medical weight loss. The hours are more convenient and they are open on Saturdays. The best part is that the price stays the same even if they have to increase or add dosages. I weighed in at 200lbs (I'm 5'6") and have been attending for less than 3 mos. I have lost 37 lbs so far. I am actually smaller now than I was before I had the baby. Yes, I did have to make some lifestyle changes, but I never starve myself. They actually will give you supplements to help control the cravings and I don't have to excersize like crazy. I am active by keeping up with my son and playing dance factory with my daughter. I only have about 15 lbs. more to reach my goal weight but am confident I can do it. Next summer I will turning 32 years old, but will look as good as I did when I was 22! I am also happy becuase I will be able to keep up with my wild baby boy in his toddler years. No, they are not paying me to do this, I wrote this review becuase I know how detrimental having a baby weight can be to your self esteem. It effected my kids becuase at times I didn't want to leave the house, or would make my daughter late for events becuase I couldn't find anything to fit. It also effected my relationship, becuase I was not confident when I went out with my significant other, but now I feel fabulous (I think he agrees). I recommend this to anyone who is serious about losing weight.
