I went to Dr. Howard originally because he was on my insurance plan, but I keep going back year after year because his examinations are really complete. The contacts he prescribes for me make my eye sight crystal clear, and since I do a lot of night driving for my job as a chauffeur, it was so important that I see great. I also have gotten three pairs of designer glasses there that I get complemented on daily!
Pros : Great exams, accurate prescriptions, in office lab can make glasses while you wait. Lots of colored lenses, disposables in stock for convenience.
Cons : Busy waiting room, but lots of good magazines to read.
Overall: Best Eye Doctor in San diego! Dr. Howard Was able to correct my vision problems after only one visit. My contacts are clear and comfortable and my glasses are great!
Value: Dr. Howards office has affordable rates, and his glasses and contacts are priced competitively.
Service: Though the office is always quite busy, I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes for my exam. My glasses are usually made for me in the office in about 30 minutes! They have thousands of contact lenses in stock, so I can walk in and buy my replacements on the spot!
Quality: The exam given is very thorough and includes some pretty high tech tests done even before you see the doctor. The glasses there are designer to budget lines, and everything in between.
