This place is well suited to the casual or semi professional wood worker. They can probably deal with larger quantities too but I don't make that sort of order. They have many different kinds of wood on hand in a variety of thicknesses and they are willing to cut boards to length for you.‎

I've been to the House of Hardwood a few times to get custom dowels. They are the only place I could find that sells walnut and solid oak dowels in a variety of sizes. Large selection of woods that I couldn't find elsewhere. Prices are reasonable, and custom cuts are pretty cheap if you cut in bulk. Great place for any custom work you need done or if you need to find more exotic woods.
