I called the first reviewer back twice and left messages. We did schedule the work, but because of we were so understaffed, we were unable to perform the work that was requested. As he stated, I did put him in contact with another surveyor. I did not leave him high and dry. There are two sides to every story.

As for the second reviewer...she called and demanded a copy of a previous survey. She felt that she was entitled to a copy because she purchased the property that we had surveyed some years ago. Our files are not public domain. We do not pass out copies of surveys to anyone who happens to call. Only the original customer is entitled to copies of previous surveys, as they are the ones who paid in the first place. We offered to re-survey the property at a substantial disount, but she refused the offer and only became more belligerent. Again, she felt she was owed something for nothing.

Hoskins Land Surveyors, Inc. has a good name and a good standing in the Houston area. We strive to provide the best service possible, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. It is a shame that people will stoop to near-slander because they did not get what they wanted. I would invite anyone who has a comment to call my office and speak with me personally.

Took about two weeks of leaving voice mail messages before they called back and scheduled the survey. The morning of, they call me to tell me that they will have to reschedule for the next day. The next day they call me to say that they will not be able to do the survey at all. They did provide the name and number of another company ? from across the county.

Needed assistance with a previous survey performed by them. They would not help me out, just quoted the price of a new survey.
