If you need a trustworthy and competant mechanic, then you need John at Honest Automotive. My wife and I were in nearby Lathrop, CA for the weekend working. As we were preparing to leave town on a Monday, our fuel pump quit working unexpectedly on our Chevy truck while we were at the Post Office. We didn't know where to turn for help. We found Honest Automotive and John set us up with a great tow driver and John set on repairing our truck immediately. They fixed the problem and we left paying less than we really expected to pay elsewhere. Great business! I feel good knowing I have a mechanic in Manteca if I need John again.

Honest Automotive

The name says it all. I took my car to Honest Auto for a 30,000 mile service and I was so happy with the service and prices I received. I thought I would have to pay 5 or 600 bucks, instead it was a little over 300. The mechanic told me that most of what the dealer does is CHECK everything and charge you as if they fixed it. He did check everything they check but didn't charge me to fix it because it obviously wasn't broken. I will always take all of my cars to Honest because I trust them and I know I can afford them.
