SDHOM lowered my forks and didn't tighten the triple clamps. All bolts were loose and one was missing. I lucky to notice this before I was seriously hurt or killed. DON'T let them service your bike!‎

I went to HoM this morning to pick up a new helmet, and I'm glad I did. Henry asked if I needed help, and when I declined and said I was browsing, he backed off and let me poke around. Once I was ready, I asked for help, and he could not have been more helpful. I gave him my budget, and he stayed right within those bounds, and even hooked me up with a great deal because I pointed out that the helmet I was buying (display model) had a few extremely faint scratches. 5 stars for a great price, selection, and especially service. I will definitely give them my business again. -Ali‎

Fun Bike Center is hiring kids or putting their little sisters to work (heh heh heh) filing bogus reviews all over town. Never trust sites like Google, Yelp, CitySearch, etc. It's too easy for the kids over at FBC to make a fake account and post trash. Both "Brian" and "CRF_50_Guy" below are FBC stooges. They're swiping negative reviews about Fun Bike and reposting them as negative reviews about OTD, HoM, SouthBay, just name it. As far as HoM goes, they have pretty fair deals. Their prices are reasonable but not rock bottom. Gotta make a living, so no complaints. I've had tires replaced here and they did a great job.‎

House of Motorcycles has a reputation among everyone I know for being "a bunch of punks." This is coming from a diverse street and cruiser group. Bikes include Augusta, Honda, Ducati, etc. Most dont trust their service department. I went in there to buy my first bike. House of Motorcycles is flashy as hell, which makes me wonder how much the customer ends up paying for their light bill. The sales guy was probably late teen or early 20s. He started negotiations about $2000 above MSRP. After a couple of hours of "let me talk to my manager" back and forth, he ended at $1500 above MSRP. Time to walk out. Thats when his backup showed up and tried to argue this fee and that fee. This was for a Yamaha 1100, not exactly a hot bike. Should have been a 15 minute sale. I ended up buying from a place called OTDCycleSports. Im not affiliated in any way. OTD price landed just above MSRP. Thats tag, title, taxes, everything. I probably saved $2000 or more by not buying at House of ...
