this place has the best damn food. unfortunately the service is terrible. i've eaten here about 10 times and the waiters/waitresses are lame. they forget about you all the time and aren't worth tipping. it takes a long time to get food.<br />

my recommendation is to eat at the sushi bar. the chefs there are a lot of fun and they make some mean sushi. avoid sitting at a table, you'll regret it.<br />

(on quick story: one of the waitresses took 40 bucks out of our cash pool thinking that our big party would just think the missing cash was our fault and pay up another 40 bucks. screw that!)<br />

I love this place! I have eaten there many a times each with my party being very small and also very large, and each time the service has been great. The food is great and so is the service. The waitresses are all very nice and helpful. I have exposedd this place to all my friends, family and coworkers and they all love Hon Sushi and tend to keep going back. <br />

Hon Sushi was great, all you can eat sushi for lunch for $18! Service was excellent also. We will definitely be back. They even have seared ahi (tuna) and many rolls available.‎

We stopped in on our way thru town not expecting anything to be open on Christmas Eve, nor to even find anything in Oceanside really worth it. But Hon Sushi really delivered an awesome lunch. Their albacore garlic roll was by far the best, with a perfect balance of flavor and texture. Service was very attentive and friendly.‎
