Rude and unknowledgeable employees‎
I went into Home Depot today to return a $280 self-propelled lawn mower for the second time for the same reason. The belt that propels the mower busted 20 minutes of my using it for the first time. The first time I went in, the cashier was rude and acted as though I was inconveniencing her with my return. I was able to finally exchange the Yardmaster mower for another which was identical. I then used THIS new mower about 3-4 times, and the belt busted again while I was using it. So I returned to this Home Depot and delt with Lorraine in returns (lazy, unknowledgeable, and rude) and Chris (VERY rude) who is some type of manager, I think. I waited 30 minutes for "Tom" who was a gardening manager, to come and ok my exchange, however he never showed up. Chris did, and was very rude. He told me he "didn't have to allow this exchange" but was going to do me a "favor" by letting me exhange the $280 mower for a $325 mower. He then proceded to insult me by ...

Kitchen Cabinets Nightmare‎
HIGHLY NOT RECCOMMENDED!!! Placed original order in Feb after hiring Home Depot to come out and measure. Home Depot hired contractors who mismeasured so the order did not fit. Not to mention kitchen wasn't designed to my specifications. Reorder was "placed" early April and only suppose to take two weeks to arrive. It wasn't until June 29th when they finally fixed the final pieces of my order. Management nor Corporate office were active in solving the problem. It took too much of my time with too many calls, visits, and always given the runaround. Not to mention promises I never received.‎
