Small store attitude and know-how,...‎
I shop at this Home Depot often (1-2x a month) and I am usually impressed at the know-how of their employees. Home Depot doesn't hire regular retail people who just know what's stocked. They hire people who either are contractors or have DIY skills and can tell you what you need to do a certain task, and how to do it. They also have free "how to" workshops, and they have free energy audits. Yes, they'll advertise some of their material, but they will go all through your home and tell you what makes financial sense to fix or replace to save on energy bills. So in addition to their usual selection and low prices, it's the people there who make Home Depot a good place to buy home improvement related materials. And I'm hard to please!! ...
