Nice, clean store, no different from any...‎
I disagree with both of you compared with the other HD's in the city, where finding someone to help you is like finding a needle in a hay stack, I find the people come up and ask if the can be of help. It's a brand new store (huge and beautiful I might add) it will take some of the employees a bit longer to help you search for your product; which i might add less then the average consumer knows what he/she is searching for to be a DIYer. The parking... well it shouldn't be a surprise, this is New York at least there's no dealing with midtown traffic amongst other things and i'm guessing parking maybe even a bit more. Here, one drives into a parking spot no headaches, well except for the $2.40. Heck, while you're here shop at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, BJ's or any of the other soon to open retailers. I personally can't wait for the waterfront to open. NO, i don't work for any of these store nor, am i working in marketing for them. I do live uptown ...

Walking from Harlem and fed-up‎
I agree with Pete, I stop driving and now I walk because of the paid parking. Home Depot also needs to educate their employee on the produce in the store. I normally go to the E23 St. location and the team is so pleasant and knowledgeable. I think I would rather pay for parking downtown than put up the team at this location. I don't think I should spend my money and also have to put up with the ghetto mentality of the worker.‎

Poor service, paid parking‎
You have to pay for parking at this home depot. As of 6/24/09 it will cost you $2.40 to park for the 1st hours. We asked for help at his place and the workers had no clue where anything was. In addition, the security is a joke. As we were walking out the burglary alarm went off. The security guard told us to just keep going. Didn't even check the bag.‎

Ultimate in Home Improvement
What's not to love about Home Depot, the ultimate in home improvement and one-stop-shopping? The stores are the size of airplane hangars; the employees are always helpful; and the prices are often very good.
