Decent poker room, but not the best by Chris H. at InsiderPages

The poker room here is pretty good, although still not as good as Bicycle Club. It is a good place to go if you want to play poker and bet the races simultaneously. Word of advice: no matter how much you love the woman, don't let her drag you upstairs to the bingo parlor. Although the view overlooking the track is great, the game is painful to play.

Hollywood Park Casino offers a several poker games as well as a variety of California Games. The casino offers Mexican Poker, Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha 8/b, and 7 Card Stud. They have many live No Limit games. They also offer daily afternoon tournaments with the buy-in usually $20 with re-buys. The poker tables and chairs are old though and have retained a lot of dirt and grime over the years and their $1 poker chips are filthy.

Kind of dirty casino that is a definite downgrade from Las Vegas, or even other California Casinos. Not very well lit and has a gloomy, depressing atmosphere at times. A nice sized poker room, with the usual limits, and the normal California Card games.

The food is unusually bad, so I would skip any kind of eating at the casino.

Nice casino with tables and slots and bars for the over 21 crowd. The bar is decent, and the tables are decent. Works for the novice as well as the professional. Closer than Vegas.

Its an adult playground with lots of activities such as a twenty for hour casino, comedy clubs, bar, gift shop, live music, Karaoke, clubs and Horseracing next door. Great to stop by when your bored because there is always something exciting going on here, Can get a little rough at times when the younger crowd throws and event or someone gets a little tipsy but overall a decent place to have a good time
