Fantastic School by Justine J. at InsiderPages
My 4 year old twins love this school, same as their 6 year old brother did when he went there (by the time he started kindergarten, he was adding, reading, and writing). My twins are already reading simple words, understand the concept of vowels, and come home each day having worked hard at lessons and playing. The dance lessons are awesome, as are the arts and crafts projects. They have great reading and math programs. I highly recommend this school both for the curriculum and the socialization. The playtime may look unstructured, but the teachers have a keen eye on the kids, and nip any agressive or bullying behavior in the bud. The only con is the occasional lost sock.

Lots of Love and Learning by Stacey W. at InsiderPages
We are new in town and could not get on the waiting list for all the schools we thought were best for our daughter. We began at Los Feliz Corners with the idea that it would be great for the summer until the fancy schools could work her in. It just seemed like a free for all when we entered.. tons and tons of activities, toys, games, kids from 2-5 all over the place. No way, we thought, is she going to learn a thing.. its camp we said. Well, I lay down to read with our daughter and she is sounding out letters and learning to read, she is singing songs I did not teach her, she is learning and loving it. She learned more in a few weeks here then the schools we sent her before that cost 3 times as much. She is now a self starter.. she learns because she loves it.. she is learning also to find her own place as opposed to having the world laid out in a neat row for her.. which is not the world we live in and far from the world she will inhabit as an adult. We love this school.. It is amazing, special and one of a kind.. So, in sum.. yeah, high on chaos, but also on learning and love....

Kids love it! by Mary F. at InsiderPages
The school was first recommended to me by several friends. The teachers are very caring and patient. I was surprised by the comments made by Ruth. She said her child was not given water, but there is a child sized drinking fountain always available to the kids. I also have never seen the school look dirty. Maybe somewhat cluttered, but there are lots of creative toys and materials for the kids to use. I think Ruth must have had a misunderstanding about her child's shy behavior, because the teachers are very friendly, and I am sure they would have helped clear it up if she had talked to them. The school has a very good, balanced learning program that is individualized. I have known some families whose kids went on to elementary school, and their kids were very well prepared.

My son love's it by paula m. at InsiderPages
My son started attending at about 3 and a half years old , just twice a week. They are very flexible and my child love's it. The teacher's are kinda older hippie types but friendly and seem to genuinely love the kids. Lots of free play and learning but not on a strict schedule.......no pre-school gestapo here! My son is always dirty from playing and having fun when I go to pick him up, just as a 4 year old should be. It can seem a little dirty but I would rather that than a sterile school that tries to make children act like assembly line workers.

Great Preschool and Kindergarten by Bonnie T. at InsiderPages
I feel so fortunate to have found this school, because usually a school of this quality is twice the price. The teachers are excellent and have an abundance of patience and energy. They have Montessori style where 2 teachers each give a lesson to one or two children at a time. My daughter thrived on this individual attention and began reading at the age of four. I??ve seen English learners do well, because lessons are taught at each kid??s level. When the children are not having a lesson, they play all together with another teacher supervising. There is a group story time and outside play. Dance, drama, and tumbling classes are also offered at a low price. Children are allowed to express themselves freely in art. Parents pack lunches, but the school provides morning cereal and there is a drinking fountain in the play yard. Because younger kids are not separated from older kids, I recommend this school for kids three years and older.

PROS: Individual attention, freedom of expression, excellent teachers, affordable
