SUPER BOWL
Watched the super bowl with a group of friends and had the best time. Everyone was very friendly and cheering all over the place. The bartenders were very nice and really moving today! The food took a long time, but it was delicious and worth the wait. They had potato skins with cheese for only $2. I was with my boyfriend, but if I was looking for a guy, this is the place!

The only bad point is the valet. It took forever to get our car when we left.

DISRESPECTFUL / RUDE / LOST CREDIT CARD
If I could take that ONE STAR rating back, I would. Because I will NEVER EVER go to this place again and I hope all of you, who read this, will reconsider heading over to this place. I went there to celebrate the 233th Marine Corp Birthday with my two marine corp WAR VETERAN buddies. In the middle of our game, clown-haired looking guy named Sam, comes and accuses us of marking up the table with CHALK, which btw, will come off with a brush, and asks us to leave, DURING THE MIDDLE of our game. We did NOT make those marks on the table and felt it was very rude to be kicked out just by his "belief" that we did that. Then we decide to relieve that tension and grab some drinks at the bar. Not only were they interrogating us and staring at us the whole time, THEY LOSE OUR CARD, at the end of the tab. The manager then accuses each of us that we might have stolen his card, and says that they never had his card. WHO DOES THAT? (How does someone open up a "tab" at a bar without giving their card?) Instead of being apologetic, she took no responsibility and then had the audacity to "salute" to my buddy, very sarcastically, after she finds out he's a Marine Vet. This was the WORST experience, especially while we're out celebrating the heroic services of my honorable friends. SHADIEST PART, they CHARGED my friends "lost" card AFTER WE LEAVE the place, which means they DID have it. THIEVES I tell you, THIEVES.

So sad! Three years ago, I would have said this was the only place to watch Sunday football. The owner has unfortunately lost touch, as evidenced by the thin crowd. Apparently, the owner is taking the place to new "heights?" by changing mgmt., hiring an inept consultant, raising prices, serving drinks in small plastic cups, allowing tvs to quietly blink out. Whether sober or after a drink, be careful of mold and the poorly lit staircase to the second floor. Is it the economy? I doubt it...the place has lost its vibe, the owners' changes seem to be more out of desperation than strategic improvement. The employees seem to have lost their pep, unsure of what the owner has in store for them and their patrons next. It is one of the coolest venues in all of Los Angeles, large, with exposed brick and lofty rafters! But the food upset our stomachs for the second of three times recently there. The other recent plus is that the effects of an undersized kitchen are not felt in a thin crowd...it usually takes 40 minutes to get food, but we had it in five minutes. Personally, I would rather wait the 40 minutes for good food and the once cool atmosphere. It could use a new owner, I am afraid. We felt we got less for more, an often ominous indicator. We become three more of the many we have talked to that no longer go there.
