This is the sort of place you take your parents to. I love my parents, and I love this place. I have gone for lunch, and everyone around the table was quite happy with their meals. Vegetarian options abound, and the staff will work with you on your dietary requests. I didn't think the non-American dishes on the menu would be worth it, but I was utterly wrong. Delish!

The building this restaurant is in is a historic location, right on Front St. The smaller rooms make for a more private, intimate dining experience. The patio in the summer is ideal.

Aside from the amazing food the atmoshphere at The Hoffman House is refreshing. The wait staff was most friendly and the married couple who own the restaurant were greeting every person who walked in the door. I highly recommend The Hoffman House and especially for those history buffs. The history of the house is remarkable and you can read all about it on the back of the menu. With fireplace dining in the winter and an outside patio in the summer you will love this restaurant!

The Hoffman House exemplifies the ideal restaurant with great food, and EXCELLENT service in a warm, inviting, historical atmosphere. IT'S A MUST!

This is a great place to go especially in the summer for the patio dining. Prices are a little more than what I like to spend for lunch, but the food is worth it. Have attended private parties here as well that were served well and the food was not your typical large party selections.
