I like that Hodges Golf offers mats and grass. They also have a section with overhangs for some shade. The prices aren't too bad, but you do have to pay to practice your short game. The shop offers snacks and drinks, including coffee! ...

Hodges Golf Center Escondido - Brad Hardan: I just had my new driver re-shafted by Brad Harden and he did an excellent job. He analyzed my swing and set me up with the correct shaft; I am absolutely crushing the ball. It might not always go where I want it but it's long.
